Stairs off your porch lead directly from your door into Penobscot Bay. Recently renovated, “Close Quarters” has every possible amenity, and perfectly gorgeous Maine water views!

Whatever rest you are looking for... Imagine sleeping with the windows open, evening temperatures in the 60’s, with a gentle breeze. You hear the water sweetly lapping at the shore just outside your window. In the distance, there is the soft, gentle clang of the ships masts as the boats seem to be rocked to sleep along with you. Several self-proclaimed insomniacs have said that this vacation destination has provided them with the best sleep of the year.

The days start and end on a cool note, making a sweatshirt a comfy choice to top a pair of shorts. Temperatures reach into the 70’s and sometime 80’s during the day, but the constant breeze from Penobscot Bay keeps everyone cool. No air conditioning here. You don’t need it.
